BEN LOMOND HIKE
3rd March 2019

For all you mountian lovers out there, this is the post for you (simply for the photos). We decided to do some exercise and did a hike up to the saddle of Ben Lomond. Ben London is a mountain near Queenstown which allows stunning views of Lake Wakatipu below and the surroundings Southern Alps.
Although we didn’t go to the summit, we reached the saddle that had beautiful views. The hike itself was hard as it was a constant incline that got our calves burning. However, when we got to the top it was definitely worth it, as you can see from the photos!
We had amazing weather which on one hand was amazing because we got some spectacular views. However, it also meant we were dripping with sweat. It was well worth it though!
On the way down the mountain we went luging which is essentially racing down the mountain on karts. As you can imagine it got a bit competitive and was so much fun!
