BONFIRE ON THE BEACH, WESTPORT

22nd - 24th February 2019

We had such a good time in Westport. Although we weren’t originally going to stay more than one night, the landslip meant we had to and I’m so glad we did.

The first night we spent chilling out, had a few bottles of wine and quite a few videos of Megan dancing in a deserted pub - rather good night indeed!

The next morning a bunch of girls, including ourselves, took one of the hostel‘s minibuses down to a local beach where they were having a surfing competition.

Although the competition was pretty anticlimtic (not much going on) we sat on the beach and enjoyed the sun.

Bazils Hostel, which is where we stayed, was the quirkiest place ever with such a chilled vibe and artwork everywhere...

In the evening we went down with some drinkies to the beach and had a bonfire. We’ve met some really nice girls on our bus that we’ve spent a lot of time with. Although the bonfire was really nice we've stunk of smoke ever since.... not ideal at all condidering we did a wash earlier in the morning!

We maybe have also had our fair share of chocolate and cookies... whoops! What can you do!!
