QUEENSTOWN
28th February - 4th March 2019

Queenstown is situated at the bottom of the South Island, surrounded by the Southern Alpes and on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Known for its bustling night life, amazing burgers, and incredible surroundings, we were so excited to go! Although we did some amazing trips from Queenstown such as Milford Sound, Ben Lomond hike, luging and the Nevis swing, we also spent a lot of time in the town enjoying all that it had to offer.
Especially seeing the Southern Alpes that completely surround the town...

We also had a famous Fergburger which is a must have in going to Queenstown. I can definitely see why!

Queenstown, with its incredible nightlife, meant that we couldn’t not go out and enjoy ourselves. We met up with loads of people from our original bus starting from Auckland who had kept on the bus when we stayed longer in each place. We had a few really great nights (one leading to a lost phone that was eventually found a few days later, haha). So here we will queue the photos of some of the wonderful people we got to see again...

We spent 4 nights in Queenstown and had such a fun time, it was so nice catching up with different people from earlier in the trip as well as doing all of our external activities! Hooray!
