WELLINGTON

Welcome to Wellington!
We decided to spend an extra night here to enjoy the city and started our day going to Te Papa Tongarewa, a museum in central Wellington. They had an amazing war section with incredible wax figures of soldiers along with their history and role in the war.
However, obvsiouly the main highlight and enjoyment was found from reading the kids books in the main area haha...
We also found a wall completely covered in sharks! Absolute highlight!!
We spent the day by the waterfront and roaming around the city. The artwork in Wellington is the best!
Although it was sad to leave our bus full of lovely people, we enjoyed our extra day in Wellington and caught up on a bit of sleep haha!
Next stop: Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman.
